Some individuals can’t control themselves when it comes to delicious chocolate but my problem happens to lay with nut butters. Every time I make sure they are or purchase a jar I down that creamy goodness in about 5 days. FOR REALS.

I usually just spoon it ideal from the jar and into my mouth. Seriously cannot help it. I’ve in fact thought about starting my own nut butter firm. You never understand.
Ever since Trader Joe’s decided to increase the price of their almond butters I am crafting my own at home. This version is based from something I wish that I’d see more of in stores: Cinnamon Raisin Almond Butter! I thought of it because I REALLY LIKE LOVE LOVE an excellent toasted cinnamon raisin bagel spread with almond butter. Mmmmm YES.
So let’s get to it! Here are the measures:
1. First you’ll roast your almonds in the oven at 350 degrees F for approximately 10 minutes. They’ll become all roasty-toasty and your house will smell like heaven.
2. Next you’ll allow the almonds to awesome for a bit then add these to the plate of a food processor and process.
3. You need to end the processor chip every once in a while because the almonds will creep up the sides. So simply scoop them back again to underneath and continue steadily to process.
4. The almond butter formation goes from small items of almonds to big clumps and eventually to some soft and creamy consistency. This should consider about 20 mins. BUT SO WORTH IT.
5. After the almond butter is normally finally creamy, you can add some vanilla, cinnamon and sodium in and procedure again. Finally you’ll add in raisins and pulse just a couple instances to break them up a bit.

Ingredients

I’m also currently obsessing over zucchini and have way too many ideas in my own head; I literally had to push myself out of the supermarket after three hours of pacing the aisles. Pretty typical.
Besides being truly a grocery store stalker, I used to be quite busy this past weekend. The majority of my Friday was spent operating then I caught a movie and stayed until my eye felt like weighty bricks. Saturday went by as well quick; I hit a yoga course in the morning, do some editorial planning the blog, and viewed an bout of Felines from Hell. NOT KIDDING. I love cats.
I had a little ‘me’ time last night though and spent the majority of my time in your kitchen. I’m looking to get caught up on formula creation in order that I can take a small vacation over the weekend and relax. My amazing mom also halted over to present me her StitchFix collection (I acquired her connected!). We haven’t noticed one another in nearly two weeks so it was great to capture up. It is important to remember you can never be too busy for your loved ones. However, you will be too busy for whenever your mom lets you know about how to pig feet very much she enjoys Jeremy Piven.

2 demi (petite) multigrain or whole grain french baguettes, cut into about 24 little slices, about 1/4 inch thick
1 tablespoon essential olive oil
1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling
pinch of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In medium dish, mix together ricotta, lemon juice, a tablespoon of honey, along with a pinch of salt. Taste; adjust tastes as necessary. You might want more lemon or honey.

My obsession with breakfast is pretty irregular. To say I like it a whole lot would be an understatement.

Have you experienced quinoa before? It’s therefore amazing and versitile. It’s a good complete protein, which means you know these will keep you pleased all morning hours. These cakes are fluffy, filled with blueberry delight, and so are sure to get you prepared for the day.

Lemon Blueberry Quinoa Pancakes

Ingredients
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup ordinary non-fat greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of milk of your decision (skim, soy, almond, coconut)
3-4 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, based on your lemon preference
zest of 1 1 lemon
2/3 cup new blueberries
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk jointly quinoa, flour, baking natural powder, and salt. In another moderate bowl, whisk collectively egg whites, yogurt, dairy, and brown sugar until soft. Add egg mixture to flour blend and whisk to combine.
Put vanilla and lemon juice and lemon zest; whisk again. Next gently collapse in blueberries.

So for the present time I think I’ll adhere to single lady things until the guy of my dreams (who might resemble Joshua Jackson aka Pacey from Dawson’s Creek) comes into my entire life. Ingredients
2 mugs cooked quinoa (or around 3/4 glass uncooked quinoa)
1 1/2 glass edamame beans, prepared and cooled
3 cups finely chopped Tuscan kale, ribs removed
1 cup chopped up grape tomatoes
1/2 crimson onion, diced
1 avocado, pitted and either chopped up or diced
2 tablespoon toasted almonds or pumpkin seed products, if desired
For lemon vinaigrette:
1 garlic clove, minced
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
To create dressing: place essential olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, basil, and salt in blender or meals processor. Blend/process for 10-15 secs; set aside.
In medium dish toss quinoa, kale, and edamame collectively; add lemon vinaigrette and toss so the salad is fully coated. Place in refrigerator for 20-30 mins to let flavors soak in.
Before serving, toss salad again and add tomatoes, onion, mango, and avocado. Garnish with toasted almonds or pumpkin seed products if desired.
Oh no! Certainy you’ll reign in a guy with fantastic flavor in food. Probably you’ll get as lucky as I did so, and discover yourself a guy whose idea of a great weekend can be apple selecting, pie baking, cider producing, and spinach couscous with oranges and olives for dinner.
The point is… not absolutely all dudes want Burger King or BBQ. Beer, maybe. But that’s a different story.

Great formula! I added some diced serrano pepper for a supplementary kick. Also I usually add ghee + ocean salt to boil with the quinoa. The mango was a delicious treat.

Sometimes it’s the simple items in life which are the best.

Simple pretty items that dance around in my head.
Like the summer flavors brought together with this salad. Juicy ripe watermelons, creamy avocado, annnnnddd lime + cilantro? Holy. I took one bite and I knew I had dropped in love.
Causeing this to be salad was a significant soul saver and a possible artery declogger. After eating half of this pie , my own body wanted to punch me in the face. Have you any idea that feeling? That pie and I aren’t close friends anymore because consuming it meant I had developed to sweat my entire spirit from my yoga exercise mat. Nevertheless those crazy pretzel-body twisting moves convinced me that I’ve officially learned how exactly to defy both gravity and massive consumption of calories. No biggie.
I’m over my pie indulgence now. Mainly because watermelon and avocado identical a full providing of forgiveness. But just so we’re obvious, producing vegan salads doesn’t mean I won’t eat a crust full of buttery love. I just have to learn to stop at one slice next time. Probably. Perhaps? Ugh.

1 seedless watermelon, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 cucumbers, peeled and trim into 1 in . cubes

Directions

Super chewy Light Chocolates Cherry Macadamia Nut Oatmeal Cookies. These cookies are created with coconut essential oil and whole wheat grains for any hearty cookie that everyone will love!
I’ve always believed that doing little things is exactly what actually matters in a relationship. You often look back and appreciate those moments.
Oh you know, like those times when the man you’re dating opened the car door for you. Or when he covered you in his coat because you had been freezing. The moments when he offered you a kiss within the forehead whenever you were down. When he made you dinner since you had been too active to cook on your own. When he showed up with flowers because. All the small things accumulate. To me, they matter.
Okayyyyyy it’s true, I’m an enchanting at heart; I always have been. And the simplest way I am aware how many calories do pig feet have to show I care is usually by baking. I’ve found that a way to a man’s heart has been cookies. Because let’s face it: no one can resist a freshly baked cookie. Especially my cookies.
This holidays I am baking more cookies i quickly know what to do with. Too many to eat, too many to give away. I want you guys could come over and eat cookies with me. And drink wines. Because I like wine. A LOT.
But seriously, I have to be put on the baking limitation. I’m considering locking my blending bowls and flour inside a wardrobe until January.
The secret ingredient towards the chewiness from the cookie? Coconut essential oil! It maintains the cookies soft for daysssssss. You know you wanna can get on the coconut oil train. I purchase mine from Whole Foods as I believe in the quality of their items is of an increased regular and trust where they supply products from.
I also made these with whole wheat pastry flour, but unless you have that readily available I suggest using white whole wheat grains or half whole wheat, fifty percent all-purpose. Regular flour is fantastic, too. Whole wheat just gives these that hearty chew that sometimes you just desire from an oatmeal cookie, you know?

2 mugs rolled oats
1 teaspoon cooking soda
1 cup packed darkish sugar
2 eggs, at area temperature

1 cup dried cherries
Instructions

Drop dough the size of 2 in . onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until cookies are simply set on the sheet across the edges. Do not over bake; we don’t wish crispy cookies! Remove from oven and let great a few minutes on baking sheet. Transfer to cable rack to complete cooling. Makes 24-36 cookies depending on size.

As soon as is finally here. It is time to say goodbye to Minnesota once and for all.

Consuming Teddy Grahams is usually a bit comparable to leaving house really. Bittersweet. I cannot think of every other way to describe it.
Teddy Grahams are adorable, yet so delicious! Even though devouring their lovely little bear systems is a little damaging, the incredible flavor and satisfaction helps it be all worth it.

We take with me a feeling of independence. Adventuring to a fresh destination followed with a sense of question. An enjoyment to explore the unidentified. Creating a chocolate Teddy Graham pie crust was on my mind. This was my day after all! Giving presents to yourself is definitely advisable.
Double the chocolate means increase the fun. Chocolate Mousse filling!
I remembered that whip cream and sprinkles help to make everything better. Discover?
You need to know when taking in this pie, all is good.
Creamy chocolate makes you forget your worries. Teddy Grahams cause you to just smile.

Delicious chocolate Mousse & Teddy Graham Birthday Pie

For the crust:
6 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
To make the crust:
Preheat oven to 350 levels F.
Blend Teddy Grahams, butter, sugar, and salt jointly. Pulse in meals processor until very crumbly. Scrape into 9 inch pie pan and use a spoon or fingertips to press into the pan. Make certain it is even, then bake in range for 10 minutes. Take out of range and place and cable rack to great.
To make the filling:
Place heavy whipping cream and granulated sugar in large bowl. Using a power mixer, defeat until heavy and thick. Dark brown Butter & Toasted Almond Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies with Ocean Salt

I’m turning the big 24 this Saturday. Do you consider it’s regular to celebrate by consuming cookies for the whole WEEK?
Of training course… because you know the world is supposed to end Friday or whatever. Therefore I’m suggesting we all consume cookies this week (good excuse, right?).
But seriously, these cookies are essentially a mini, delicious birthday present to myself.
It occurred to me that really couldn’t be simply ANY cookie though; it needed to be amazing. Kinda like those Nutella-stuffed cookies Wait around, what about the Peanut Butter Chocolates Chip cookies ? Or those sensational Dark brown Butter Snickerdoodles ? Obviously if a guy wants to understand how to my heart, it’s through cookies made out of brown butter.
What? Baking the right path to love is completely a thing you know.
Okay, enough approximately brown butter and guy bait and such. Let’s chat cookies because that is why you are really here.
These cookies! Ugh I think I wish to reside in them. Do you think it’s possible for me personally to make a house out of cookies and snuggle alongside chocolate chips every evening? A girl can dream.
And alright, I’ll admit that I claim every cookie on this blog page is fantastic, and they are or I wouldn’t provide you with the recipe! BUT you’re most likely wondering what’s so unique about these cookies…
Well needless to say there’s that dark brown butter (most sensible thing ever), but additionally, there is the addition of dark brown sugar toasted almonds. They are almonds which have been toasted on the stovetop after that caramelized with brownish glucose and sprinkled with handful of sea sodium. 1/3 cup mini vegan chocolate chips, plus 2 tablespoons for sprinkling at the top (I take advantage of Enjoy Life brand)
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine lentils and 1 cup of water; provide to a boil. Reduce warmth, cover, and simmer for 10-15 mins or until lentils are soft.
