This last weekend I spent my time catching up with a pal and enjoying a short visit to DC. I unquestionably love weekend trips! You get in and out of cities with several fantastic meals, memories to chuckle over, as well as the exhilaration of travel. There’s only really a very important factor I despise: travel aftermath.
I always come across myself in a state of chaos after an experience. I’ll even completely admit to you that my suitcase isn’t getting unpacked for at least fourteen days. There may also be hemorrhoids of laundry beginning at me, and it’ll take a minimum of two times to dig through emails. Oh and to top everything off I have to think about cooking myself supper after eating out all weekend and guzzling margaritas like I have the metabolism of the gymnast… ignore it! At that time all I desire to do is spread out in my own bed and watch a marathon of demonstrates used to be cool within the 90s. Or the Food Network because it’s truly the only channel I need.
It is now time where super lean turkey sloppy joes come in. They’re so easy to toss together – and healthful as well! Total travel get worried diminished. Really you guys, you absolutely have no idea how obsessed I am with preferred childhood foods, especially heaping tomato slathered juicy turkey sandwiched between a whole whole wheat hamburger bun. Like LOVE LOVE LOVE. As a youngster, I used to consume them with corn chips almost every day time. Given that I’m an adult, I hold the wish that someone will generate a sloppy joe food truck and recreation area it before my house during lunch time.
Okay I admit that’s an unlikely situation, but I really do love them! These joes certainly are a magic pill for my comfort food cravings.
