Place quinoa and 2 cups of drinking water in a small pot over high temperature. Bring to boil, cover, reduce high temperature to low and prepare quinoa for quarter-hour or until all the water is soaked up. Fluff using a fork and transfer to a separate bowl to awesome for 5-10 mins.

It is important to use muffin liners in this recipe when baking seeing that when I didn’t my mini frittatas stuck towards the pan. Be sure to squirt the inside from the liners with non-stick cooking spray too!

I actually made you more cookies made with nutella. Because isn’t it apparent I really like that delicious chocolate hazelnut spread in, on, and stuffed in just about everything?

It’s evident that I really love baking you things to make your weekends happy, inspiring, and fun. Heaven knows that trashing the kitchen up on a Saturday afternoon is sort of essential at Ambitious Kitchen headquarters (aka my house). However before we talk about all the fudgy love packed into these cookies, I needed to share several my favorite things lately.

1. I’m in love with shaded pants aka luxury pants. I recently bought really pretty wine shaded jeans; these were cheap and fit properly! Now I’m within the visit a cranberry or wine colored coat, but can’t appear to find any I like, so I guess painting my fingernails and wearing wines shaded lipstick is normally doable in the meantime.

2. I was watching the Food Network (what else?) and Giada arrived on. She was making some beautiful delicious Italian dish which produced me recognize that I can’t even remember the last time I had fashioned pasta. And then OMG I thought about how much I really like melty lasagna and stuffed mushroom ravioli. Oh… and all that loaf of bread and cheese! Certainly that needed to fixed so I made this simple fast rotini dish with butternut sage sauce I might or may not possess ascended to heaven soon after. Seriously, it was THAT good.

3. I went to this cafe in Minneapolis, and I cannot tell you how impressed I used to be. It’s my fresh favorite; if you ever venture up to the Tundra that is definitely where you need to go. Purchase the scallops… or the meatballs! To die for.

4. I’ve recognized how important it really is to never give up. On lifestyle. On happiness. On love. Or… on eating Halloween Oreos. What? It’s not possible. Especially when they’re covered in chocolates and sprinkled with ocean salt Best halloween treat ever?

I always claim yes to nutella. So dangerous, yet so rich and wonderful!

Which is why it makes an ideal cookie dough.

Last weekend my Godkids and I made flourless peanut butter cookies , which were incredibly delicious. I thought I’d try exactly the same recipe by replacing the nutella. That didn’t come out well as the dough pass on wayyy too thin. So I tried again by adding various levels of flour until I were left with the best crispy-on-the-outside-chewy-in-the-middle cookie. They turned out perfect!

My favorite part is these cookies just take about 25 mins until they are in your stomach.

These are best served a tiny little bit warm. And obviously adding the ocean salt is crucial.

Seriously, have you any idea how hard it is to photograph a few of these recipes without eating all of them at once? Pretty much impossible. I simply had to sneak a bite.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients besides salt in a big bowl with electric mixer until good combined. Place dough in freezer for 10 minutes.

After ten minutes roll dough into approximately 1-inch balls, place on ungreased baking sheet a minimum of two inches apart and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and let awesome for a few moments until cookies are established, then very carefully transfer to a wire rack. Generously sprinkle with sea salt.

Wish I needed just simply googled Nutella cookies before I tried it using the flourless pb cookie formula! They did turn out a little slim, but still great and chewey. I’ll try this recipe and the Nutella and dark brown butter stuffed delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe (OMG) next!

BTW, my husband and I shared a chocolates mint cookie a couple weeks ago that was awesome and I would love to replicate it. It had been dark, dark chocolate with chocolate chips and mint pieces running through it. I added some Andes mint pieces to my Nutella flourless cookie and it was good too. Need to focus on it.

Also was it meant to be self raising or plain flour?

Another throwback I can’t appear to get enough of? SLOPPY JOES.
Hell yes. The goodness that is sloppy messy meats in a slightly nice (and spicy!) tomato sauce. I swear I possibly could eat it every day for the rest of my life. Also, will somebody please invent a sloppy joe food truck? Consider of all the possibilities…

These particular turkey sloppy joes are produced from scratch. None of this Manwich business up in my joes, just simple ingredients here. My favorite sloppy joe sauce is made from tomato sauce, a few tablespoons of ketchup for sweetness, spices, soy sauce and yellowish mustard. I love it because it isn’t overly sweet like the majority of sloppy joes, but it still tastes like this sauce you remember from your youth. And together with cornbread waffles? Oh yes, you truly must.
To help make the waffles, I used my wonderful fresh waffle iron This point is beyond amazing. I was able to bake two waffles simultaneously, plus they were fluffy and didn’t adhere to the pan in any way. If you’re on the market, I highly recommend this one!
Spicy Turkey Sloppy Joes on WHOLE WHEAT GRAINS Cornbread Waffles
Serves: 4
Meal: 1/4th of recipe (1/4th of sloppy joe meat + 1/2 belgian waffle)

Ingredients
1 white onion, diced
1 reddish colored pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 tablespoons ketchup
For the cornbread waffles
1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour or white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup yellowish cornmeal
2 teaspoons cooking powder
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
Instructions
Place olive oil inside a dutch oven or a large container and place over moderate heat. Add in olive oil, turkey, onion, peppers and garlic clove. Stir frequently; breaking up the turkey meats as you go. Cook until turkey is not any longer red and onions are somewhat translucent.
Next, add in chili powder, cumin, onion powder and cayenne; stir for 30 seconds to allow spices to prepare a bit. After that stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, soy sauce. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20 a few minutes.
As the sloppy joes are simmering it is possible to preheat your waffle iron.
