My sailing experiences!!!

 I was born  almost on a sailing boat in 1947.

My father had a boat near the city of Rotterdam in Godschalksoord at the river oude maas.
We were sailing every weekend and vacation.
Most of the time we went to the sea side like Goederede and Helvoetsluis.
The biggest trip was to Belgium over the sea to Oostende.
 I had my first sailing boat when I was 8 years old.
My father gave me a 9 feet jol in 1955.
The reason that I had to wait until the age of 8,
 had to do with the fact that I had to know how to swim. first

 Which one I bought when I was 23 years old.
I was working that time as a physical education teacher in a prison in the city of Rotterdam and I bought the boat from my first salary.

The sailing boat I had a lot of pleasure with was a hoby cat.
This boat was with a trailer and we went all over Europe with it,
We were sailing it in Holland, France, Yugoslavia, Sweden.

The cat went to St Maarten to a friend of me after I received the boat of my father after his death in 1979.
